Your views on Text Speak

I really hate to see people using text speak, do you think it's is about time people put a stop to it before it kills the English language.

Yeah, It's very annoying..
I cannot understand all the stuff they type.

I agree that it is pretty annoying. Why can't you just take the time to write out a full message? Is abbreviating a few words/phrases REALLY going to save you THAT much time?

It's called text speak for a reason, keep it in your texts!

Though I use proper grammar everywhere. I hate seeing bad grammar, it's a pet peeve of mine.

In forums/blogs/youtube I always (try to) use English. But when I chat I use text speak.

I hate it because I can barely understand it. I could be sitting there staring at a simple sentence for 10 minutes that's been so shortened that it's incomprehensible!

Don`t use it and don`t like even when text i use the full word
my children no I don`t like it so when they text me they also use full words
